A museum is only as strong as the community that supports it.
On April 2, 2016 we will be hosting our second annual Dancing With The Cars dinner to benefit the Kansas City Automotive Museum. The evening promises to be a fun event among our very own cars and exhibits. There will be drinks, dinner and dancing along with silent and live auctions. You will have an opportunity to mingle with other car enthusiasts but more importantly all funds raised go directly towards creating or maintaining museum programs, that will continue to establish us as a recognized institution and destination.
Kansas City has a unique and storied love affair with the automobile. From the very beginning when Henry Ford built his first factory outside of Detroit in KC, we have mattered. We now have a museum that celebrates that history and has become a focal point for you, the car loving community.
The Kansas City Automotive Museum is a 501(c)(3)non-profit, charitable corporation, with a mission to entertain and educate all generations through the preservation, promotion, and display of Kansas City’s rich automotive heritage.
Supporting and attending our event is will help ensure the Museum remains an integral part of Kansas City’s automotive history. We are proud of our accomplishments and motivated to reach even greater goals in the year to come. Keeping in mind that our future plans for the Kansas City Automotive Museum include a much larger facility big enough to rival the best automotive museums in the country.
