Kansas City Cadillac Club

The Kansas City Cadillac Club was founded in September of 1987 by Craig Wood, who is still a very active member in our club.  His original purpose was to gather together local Cadillac enthusiasts for fun and fellowship.  Initially, there were about 20 members.  Now our club boasts over 65 members, and it continues to grow each year.  In October of 2014, the club entered into an informal partnership with Cable-Dahmer Cadillac, of Independence, Missouri. The club became affiliated with the national club in 1999 and we represent the Missouri Valley Region.  Plans to host the Grand National Meet began in 2009.  This is an enormous annual 4 day event that takes place in various cities around the United States, and it attracts hundreds of Cadillac and LaSalle enthusiasts from all across America and from several countries oversees.  Our local club hosted the 2010 Grand National, a crowning achievement, given the intense competition among US cities vying to host this spectacular event. Our local club’s volunteer leadership, (the Board of Directors) includes the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, who are elected for 3 year terms.  In addition, the Executive Committee includes volunteer leaders, such as the Activities Chairperson, a Membership Chairperson, and a Technical Support Chairperson. Our meetings are held on the fourth Sunday of every month at the Denny’s Restaurant at 10480 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas.  The meetings start at 4 pm, and weather-permitting, club members often bring their Cadillac’s and park them together.  If you own a Cadillac, we encourage you to bring it to the meetings as well.
